Swedish Massage: 60 minutes – $60
If it’s your first time or you don’t get a massage often, this is the perfect massage for you. Swedish massage, “The Classic Massage” is the most common and well-known type of massage in the West. Lotion is used to allow Katey’s hands to glide over your body, applying gentle, circular, firm or deep pressure as necessary. Katey Kage uses a variety of soothing strokes in the direction of your heart. This increases oxygen flow and decreases tension, as well as eliminating muscle toxins while improving circulation, allowing for and promoting relaxation and stress relief.
Quick Relief Massage: 30 minutes – $30
Katey’s “Quick Relief” massage focuses on one specific area of your body upon request. This massage is ideal for targeting those tight or sore problem areas of your body. Whether it is a stiff neck, chronic back pain or a specific muscle ache, Katey will focus solely on your problem area with a variety of techniques to relieve tension and pain and regain health and relaxation. A true aid in transforming your “problem area” into a “problem-free” area.
Hot Stone Massage: 90 minutes – $90
Basalt stone is black volcanic rock that absorbs and retains heat well and has been smoothed naturally by forces in the river and sea. Native Americans originally heated Basalt stones by fire for treating muscle aches. Like the Natives, Katey uses each heated stone to target muscle-tensed areas as an extension of her own hands, while massaging your body into complete relaxation.
Neuromuscular Therapy: 60 minutes- $60
Katey performs a full body Swedish massage in addition to locating trigger points associated with your muscle pain using using intense concentrated pressure to those points to alleviate your stress and muscle tension. Neuromuscular therapy is ideal for treating the lower back, the neck, the arms, repetitive motion injuries, headaches, reported numbness and tingling in the limbs.
Prenatal Massage: 50 minutes – $60
Massage therapy during your second and third trimester is a wonderful complementary choice for prenatal care.
